*Focus on Facilitation Instructor Certification Training: Due to the advanced level of this workshop, candidates must currently be certified instructors in Six Thinking Hats® and Lateral Thinking™.

** Focus on Facilitation End User Training: 3-day workshops—you must have completed prerequisite training; attended Six Thinking Hats® or Lateral Thinking™ Training.

Our workshops are conducted by expert de Bono Thinking Systems Master Trainers. They are business experts in their own right. They will add a depth of learning to your workshop experience that is consistently described as very stimulating and filled with practical how-to tips by our attendees.

Your workshop fee includes official de Bono Thinking Systems, Inc. comprehensive training materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and lodging arrangements.

Dress is business casual. It is always smart to bring a sweater or jacket as hotel meeting rooms are notoriously cold.

Payment: Methods include VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

Cancellation Policy for End User Public Workshops

Cancellations received within 14 days of our end user workshops are non-refundable—you will receive no refund. You may substitute another attendee to take your place for an additional fee of $250.

Cancellations received more than 14 days before the end user workshop will be charged a 10% service charge, plus the cost of any completed pre-work. You may substitute another attendee for an additional fee of $250.

Transfers to another training date received more than 14 days before the end user workshop may be accommodated if there is a suitable date and space is available. There is a $250.00 service charge.

If you fail to show up for a course that you have registered to attend, you will not receive a refund or a transfer opportunity. You will be charged the full fee.

If a workshop is canceled you may choose to attend a future training event of equal value or receive a full refund. We are not responsible for travel expenses and will not reimburse any travel expenses.

Cancellation Policy for Instructor Certification Courses

Cancellations received within 14 days of the certification course will receive no refund—you will be charged the full fee. You may substitute another attendee at an additional fee of $250. Your replacement must complete the application and reference package and be approved as a qualified candidate for this training before attending.

Cancellations received more than 14 days before the certification workshop will be charged a 15% service charge, plus the cost of any completed pre-work. You may substitute another attendee at an additional fee of $250. Your replacement must complete the application and reference package and be approved as a qualified candidate for this training before attending.

Transfers to another certification workshop date received more than 14 days before the certification workshop will be charged a $300.00 service charge.

If you fail to show up for your certification workshop you will not receive a refund or a transfer opportunity. You will be charged the full fee.

In the unlikely event we have to cancel a public end user workshop or certification workshop because of low enrollment you will receive a full refund, promptly. The Opportunity Thinker and de Bono for Business are not responsible for airfare penalties or other costs incurred due to a workshop cancellation.
